Performance Sailing Seminars at Sail Dallas

Cruising Along at Hull Speed!
Cruising Along at Hull Speed!
We distinguish Technical Sailing from Competitive Sailing because making the boat sail efficiently is a primary goal of almost any sailor; weekender, cruiser, and racer.

These Seminars are targeted for any sailor looking to concentrate on their technical sailing skills beyond the basic sailing level.

Obviously, racers will want to maximize their boat speed in a competitive environment.

But sailig techniques are important for cruisers too. Techniques like “balancing the helm” are imperative. Many cruisers may use auto-pilots. But an auto-pilot should never be steering a helm the helmsman wouldn’t steer themselves.

Even for the weekend sailor, correct sailing techniques cause less stress on the boat as well as the person at the helm.

And the boat, sailing correctly, feels much more comfortably as it moves through the water.

We offer two Technicial Sailing Seminars:

  • Sail Trim Seminar
  • Cruising Spinnakers Seminar
