J-24 Lease & Rental Programs

We have a fleet of fully equipped J-24 sailboats at Pier 121 Marina on Lake Lewisville.   They are available for lease or rent exclusively to our members.  

There are two ways to become a member.  Either method requires proof of sailing competency: 

  1. You must complete our entire Basic Sailing curriculum.

  2. If you are an accomplished sailor, you may demonstrate sailing competency by challenging the standards.

The Magellan Sailing Center has two different J-24 programs:

  1. Annual Lease.  This program provides students with unlimited total hours of sailing per season.

  2. Hourly Rentals.  This program allow you the option of renting the boat for a short period of time.
