GO Sailing for Charity

 

The Magellan Sailing Center participates in Charity events.  If you represent a charity and are interested in a sailing fundraising event, please contact us.

 

 

 

This is a great way to investigate the sport of sailing while helping the local community.  We look forward to seeing you there.

We do ask that you wear appropriate clothing.  This includes:
        Soft, light colored soled shoes are REQUIRED(!) (i.e. boat shoes or tennis shoes).
        Additionally, you may want to bring a light jacket.
        Adult life vests are provided.  
        All children 12 years & younger are REQUIRED to wear life vests at all times while onboard.  No Exceptions, it's the law!  

PLEASE NOTE:  Magellan Sailing Center, Inc. DOES NOT provide life vests sized for children!  You are responsible for providing your own  child with a life vest that fits.

 

OUR CHARITY POLICY:  
100% of any funds raised at any of our charity events go to that charity.  Magellan Sailing Center, Inc. donates ALL equipment, time and efforts, it's personnel, it's students, or other volunteers.  We generally suggest a nominal donation amount as a guideline, but a donation is not required to participate in the event.  On some occasions, the benefactors of the charity are present and they are always welcome.
